" The softest of all things
Overrides the hardest of all things.
Only Nothing can enter into no-space."
Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching
Kaya Cyanara is an organism exploring the mind, consciousness and the human body in relation to his natural and technological surroundings. It aims to explore how these two principles, which are representing an explicit duality expressing an implicit unity, can lead observers and participants to new forms of self-identification. Kaya Cyanara, peeled open like the leaves of artichoke, reveals a micro-macrocosmic dimension where the body assumes a symbolic form with physical, kinetic, emotional and spiritual layers. A detached heart is hidden beneath these layers where one flows back to an essence of all forms.
Kaya Cynara is a body of work melding digital and tactile perceptions, conceived to exist in multiple versions of undefined duration in changing locations.
